This is a horizontal crop of the original vertical image of two of fifteen Ruth Asawa sculptures in the Education Tower of the deYoung Museum in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. These are looped wire, as most in the permanent exhibit are. I took this image in 2009. Ruth Asawa died in 2013. I shot this using a Canon Powershot SX20, that I was using in those days, a nice superzoom point and shoot that used AA batteries. You can see the original image in the following slide.
