I made this photo of iceplant flowers as I was meandering about the area outside the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond California. Melody and I had traveled across the San Francisco Bay to attend the crafts fair the weekend before Christmas 2019 – a fundraiser for KPFA radio of the listener only sponsored Pacifica Network. I shot this using my Canon Powershot SX50 but vertically cropped the image for this version of the original image.
