Day after Sturgeon Full Moon - early morning from San Francisco 20190816-041606 cw50 C4

I made this post full moon photo early in the morning on Friday August 16, 2019 after I saw it in the early morning sky as I was adding a plastic bottle to our recycle bin that would be picked up in a short while. I decided to publish it on Flickr. This bright moon reminded me of shooting a more subdued moon a couple of nights ago two and one half days earlier when the same moon was closer to the horizon that I had photographed from McLaren Park, a few blocks from my San Francisco home. I have posted one of the evening moon photos in the previous slide and will probably post more soon. This particular Sturgeon Moon showed well in the sky and my Canon Powershot SX50 was ready to capture the images. According to Farmer's Almanac, sturgeon fish are more easily caught in August and Early September. As you can see, this moon was certainly spectacular as seen from my San Francisco neighborhood.
