Waxing Gibbous Moon from San Francisco Oct 20 through smoke haze of Northern California wildfires 20181120-180115 cw50 C5

This is the first of two moon shots taken from San Francisco within 17 minutes of each other. This photo shows effect from the very smokey air caused by wildfires 200 mile northeast of our city that killed 85 people and destroyed thousands of homes, including mostly the entire town named Paradise, California. I shot this from the parking lot of supermarket store Melody and I frequently patronize. Shot with Canon Powershot SX50 on spot focus, letting the camera set the exposure.
