Waxing Gibbous Moon from San Francisco Oct 20 seemingly clear through smoke haze of Northern California wildfires 20181120-181830 cw50 C5

This is the second of two moon shots taken from San Francisco within 17 minutes of each other. Though the photo in the previous slide seems effected by the very smokey air caused by wildfires 200 mile northeast of our city that killed 85 people and destroyed thousands of homes, including mostly the entire town named Paradise, California, this photo taken from the backyard of our home looks relatively normal. Shot with Canon Powershot SX50 on spot focus, letting the camera set the exposure.
