This is the first of three photos of my first series of the Super Wolf Blood Full Moon in eclipse as seen from San Francisco on January 20, 2019. I shot the two series of eclipse shots, the only two chances I got as the cloudy and rainy skies over the city obscured the moon and eclipse for the rest of the event. I had seen this moon, in all its glory, during the final few blocks as I was returning from a trip out of town. This first of the three taken from the deck at the back of our home is quite overexposed but still an interesting shot. The eclipse is in its beginning stage. This series is the first shot using my Canon Powershot SX50.
