I made this photo of a Mercedes automobile that was left in our neighborhood street by its driver when there was a parking spot available at the curb. I shot this while standing in the street in front of my long time San Francisco home - even back in February 2011 when I captured this and another image of this car - license 6KQL920. Abandoning cars in the middle of the street is one of my pet peeves. When I observe this rude and thoughtless behavior I sometimes sarcastically comment that it is OK because the car is a Mercedes or a BMW or an SUV. It truly amazes me that people more and more just park their vehicles wherever they stop, even when there is a thoughtful and legal place available. I shot this using my Canon EOS 60D DSLR.
