Lighted Reindeer in shopping mall in city of South San Francisco 20151230-174829 C4
This is a photo made when Melody and I were at Tanforan shopping mall in South San Francisco about 10 miles from our home. It was built at the main entrance and was very tall. If you look closely you may be able to see the red light of a traffic signal on the bottom left of the photo and the guy wires holding up the heavy metal sculpture frame. It was too cold for me to venture farther toward the busy El Camino Real to get the mall in the background for some perspective. Besides, there would have been too many other distractions - lights, cars, people, storefronts, and restaurants. With the help of cropping high and a bit of cloning, this edit provided a rather dark background and, also, it was nighttime. Taken at 1/25 sec speed preferred setting 1/25 second wide open. My Canon Powershot SX50 assigned an ISO of 800. I just wanted to grab the shot and get back to warmth.
