Woman viewing Tiziano Vecellio's Venus rising Circa 1525 deYoung Museum San Francisco's Golden Gate Park 20150424-102034 C4e
Captured this image of a woman standing in front of Tiziano Vecellio's Venus Rising Circa 1525 at the exhibit of masterpieces loaned by the National Galleries of Scotland for San Francisco's Botticelli to Braque at the deYoung Museum March 7 through May 31, 2015. The woman is wearing headphones rented to visitors that audio guides them through the exhibit. What intrigued me most was seeing the braided hair of the visitor while she was viewing Venus stroking her hair in the painting. As you will see in the following slides the relationship of the viewers to the centuries old masterpieces was a consistent theme to my Botticelli to Braque exhibit photographs.
