Lanterns over Grant Ave during March 7, 2015 Spring Festival in San Francisco's Chinatown 20150307-114900 C4
Captured this image about 20 minutes after we entered the eight block stretch of Grant Avenue that was the venue for the March 7, 2015 Spring Festival in San Francisco's Chinatown. You can see here that the color theme RED embraced the sponsor booths and the lanterns over the main street of the festivities.
The building in the upper right corner was the Hartford Building at 650 California St, the tallest skyscraper in the state when it was completed in 1964. As an aside, I was working for Hartford Insurance when we moved into the new facility from the old headquarters the next block up the hill. The second building from the top right is the top of the Bank of American Building at 555 California - 52 stories tall.
