This image capture was on the last morning of a three day visit to the Mono Lake area of Eastern California. The perspective is a bit off due to shooting with telephoto focal length. The person in the middle is my travel mate Anita. She was at least 300 feet from me. The others were farther. You can see how tall the Tufa towers are in comparison. Tufas are not for climbing. In the few times we visited Mono Lake during our stay, all the visitors respected that rule. Shot with Canon Powershot SX30.
