Rainbow and secondary Rainbow Lee Vining California 20110925-180127 C4
This is the second of four images of rainbows over Mono Lake in Eastern California. The main rainbow is on the right side of the image as viewed and its secondary (inverted) rainbow is on the left of the photo. As a must for rainbows, it was raining and the setting sun was behind the photographer. This was an unexpected set of rainbows that we were able to view from a few different spots from Mono Lake to the town of Lee Vining, California - a town east of Yosemite National Park. As with the other Mono Lake rainbow photos in this small series, I used my Canon EOS 60D for this image capture.
