Gates, openings, passages are all throughout the gardens of the Bourn-Roth Estate, better known as Filoli, in Woodside CA 30 miles south of San Francisco. This is am image of one such path through a brick wall leading from one garden to another. All the gardens are well tended, even the ones farther away from the Country House that are seemingly left on their own. Little is left to chance in the main 16 acres of Filoli.
