Vintage dolls Holding Teddy Bears at 29th Council Idaho Quilt Show 20130626-150346 C4B
As Melody and I were driving through Council Idaho on June 26, 2013, we saw QUILT SHOW signs along Hwy 95. The 29th Annual Council Quilt Show was taking place at the Council High School - Admission $5 or so. During our stay at the show, we cast our votes for the quilts we liked best in the few category choices, took some photos of quilts, talked to the ladies volunteering during our stay, purchased a couple small items and captured this image of two older dolls snuggled in a white Occasional Rattan Chair, each holding a Teddy Bear. I am especially fond of this image as my mother was a very talented seamstress and collected both dolls and teddy bears. You can see some of the show quilts hanging behind the dolls.
