Forgotten Classic
This 1948 Indian Chief Motorcycle sat in an old dirt floor one stall garage a block from the house I lived in when I was a kid. The old man that owned it gave up on trying to ride it when he decided it was to big and heavy for him to handle. So there it sat for many years. The last license plate on it was issued in 1965. I took this photo just a few days before it was moved in October 1998.Taken in Boone County Iowa with a Linhof Technikarden 45S view camera and Ilford Delta 100 B&W sheet film.
