Santa Rosa Range
Southern foot of the Santa Rosa Range, looking north from Winnemucca Mountain.
During a lunch break from "Shooting the West", a yearly
(march) photography event, in Winnemucca, Nevada.
The wind was howling and it was in the mid 20's.
This is one from my "Get out of the car, (but leave the engine running)" series.
Within a few yards of the partially snow covered dirt and gravel road leading to the top. A large snow bank prevented me from reaching the telecommunication towers on top.
