Artists Statement
As a Retail Merchandising major I wanted to uncover relationships between fashion and sociology. I chose to arrange my pictures by decades to show relationships more clearly between different decades and now. I explored many different sociological terms and theories to help tell the story of why fashion is the way it is and how it influences different cultures and societies.
