I shot these shots using a panning motion. I found I could match the cars speed with my motion right about in front of me. The whole track has this fence around it which makes it hard to shoot really clean shots, from where I was setting anyway.

 

Canon 40D, 70-200 f/2.8L ISM with 2X teleconverter.

 

1/1250th - f/6.3 - ISO 100
