Collembola - Springtail - Springschwanz
This little one (~2,5mm) I found during a 'macro-photo-safari' with the new raynox DCR-250 macro conversion lens last year in my garden. Never before I had seen it although the garden where I live since nearly fourty years is 'my own'.... .....my own, so I thought... ...but, after a look into 'wikipedia' I'm not sure..... Collembola lives here since more than 400 million years.........!!!
I think it's alright also if I better say: .......since nearly fourty years I am one of Collembola's guests here in the garden..................... ;-)))
PS: Since last summer they are one of my favourite models .......and we are friends too .......live together in o u r garden ...and I am proud of it...!!!
