Proteaceae border.
Planting my Proteaceae border in my back yard is an ongoing project. 36 plants in the ground so far. The back stretch is almost complete and the garden will wrap around the upper west side of the property as well. Species/cultivar count so far: 1 Aulax, 5 Banksia, 2 Grevillea, 2 Hakea, 14 Leucadendron, 9 Leucospermum, and 3 Protea. Trying to space them as appropriately as possible allowing for maximum size but squeezed a few in here and there at times. Eventually succulents will be planted across the front of the border but I may hold off until all the Proteaceae are planted and I have started rethinking what types I am going to use.
