Steel Steals A Ride!
On a delivery to Interlake Steel, ICG 199813R tags along behind the train, smoke rising from the stack indicating a much warmer place than the steps of Riverdale Tower where I'm standing! The rails into the steel plant at right were once owned by the ICRR but now trackage rights over the Panhandle (PRR/PC/CR) into the plant. (Note the PRR CPL seen over the caboose.) Traffic was mostly boxcars full of steel banding but today a gon of coiled steel is in the train headed by SW13 1301 A & B. In the distance, the headlight belongs to a Conrail GP7 on the bottle train.
