Curtis Green Building
In 1952 following a number of Burglaries in the West End a man was stopped near the Dorchester Hotel in possession of a telescopic walking stick which he had used as a ladder to enter first floor windows, he had used bolts as the rungs of the ladder which fitted into evenly spaced holes. Here the telescopic walking stick is demonstrated at the Curtis Green Building on Victoria Embankment.
The Curtis Green Building was built in 1937 as an extension to New Scotland Yard, it is now proposed to sell New Scotland Yard in Victoria Street and move the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police to the Curtis Green Building and rename it 'Scotland Yard', confused?, you will be.
