Constitution Hill

A pre WW1 Tuck's Oilette depicting The Royal Horse Guards at the bottom of Constitution Hill returning to Knightsbridge or Albany barracks after completing their duty at Horse Guards in Whitehall. The Royal Horse Guards were formed as a Parliamentary Regiment during the civil war but made the transition to The Royal Horse Guards on the restoration of the Monarchy. In 1969 they amalgamated with The Royal Dragoons (1st Dragoons) and became the Blues and Royals.
