Houses of Parliament

This is a Leon & Levy postcard from about 1906 showing the Terrace of the House of Commons where MPs schmooze their constituents and other 'friends'. A London County Council paddle steamer has just left Westminster Pier on the River Thames which not too many years before drove the MPs inside the House because of the awful stench coming from the river.
