Waterloo Bridge
This is a G.D.& D. company postcard in their Star series printed and colourised in Bavaria showing the view from Waterloo Pier looking downstream and includes Waterloo Bridge and two London County Council paddle steamers. The boat nearest the camera is reversing in order to dock at the pier and the other boat appears to have leap-frogged it and would probably call at Temple stairs. The German colourists have given the boat's awning a red and white striped effect which the boats did not have.
