Nan - 4th January

Sadly my Nan passed away on Christmas Eve. The funeral was held on 4th Jan 2010. Temperatures were sub-zero and it was an early start with the service at 9:30am. The singing was terrible (All Things Bright and Beautiful, Lord is My Shepherd, & Dear Lord & Father of Mankind) - for this we all apologise Nan :-)

We all then met up at midday at the Lockhouse in Great Haywood. We had a very nice meal, a little speech from Andy (mentioning how Nan would have enjoyed the service), and some old photos were shown around. It was good for us all to get together afterwards and I think my Nan would have appreciated us all being there.
