Kodak Retinette 1a - retest. Bought a couple of months back, a nice, shiny Retinette 1a proved somewhat myopic with its first test shoot. The lens ring had slipped and it was not properly focused. Also, there was a light scuff blemish on the lens front, probably from over-entusiastic cleaning. As can be seen, that does not always present a problem, but I have seen that a dark background is OK, but bright subjects, or shooting into the sun, literally illuminates the problem!
