The Apple iPad can now be used to view parts and assemblies created in Solid Edge ST5. Available as a free download from the Apple App Store, the Solid Edge Mobile Viewer helps designers better collaborate at customer locations or on the shop floor. A simple save as in Solid Edge creates a viewable file for the iPad allowing designs to be viewed, 3D dimensions be inspected and images saved for emailing to customers or suppliers.
