Prairie burn

Burned the Prairie Creek flood plain yesterday in the nick of time before nesting season -- which, here, is April through August. The burn went well, a back-burn into the wind first, then a burn with the wind. Hope we got rid of some of the invasives, though with the warm weather we've had this March, there were some spots too green to burn. This plain is in the Conservation Reserve Program.
