Yellow and Green!
Last week I hiked in Silver Falls State Park, a place very familiar to me. Usually, I stay on the canyon trail just because that’s where the water falls are. This time, though, I tried something different. I avoided the canyon trail altogether and hiked the Perimeter Trail. While the canyon trail is more family friendly featuring a moderate hike with ten water falls, the perimeter trail has a strenuous hike with an elevation gain of 1,000 feet straight up. The best part? NO PEOPLE! That’s right!! There’s a sign at the trail head warning of the severity of the hike and it scares everyone away.
BEST HIKE EVER!!
