I never tire of taking pics of Rosey, but then I am biased!!!
This was just after we had come home from being away for a month, on our two-week cruise and then to the Philippines. This rose was about to come into full bloom. I love this colour, and Rosey's smile and the rose(y) blend in well together.
Days here are quite cold, we are experiencing zero to -1C of a nigt with a frost to around 16C in the daytime with a beautiful clear blue sky.
Because we are so busy now, we decided to make Monday our "Date Day" and we pack a lunch and sit in beautiful Mountford Park in Leeton, in the sun, enjoy a chat and a bite to eat and watch the world go by. It is wonderful to spend time away from home and enjoy each other's company.
Today we shared congee, which is like a thick soup, then Rosey had made another wonderful concoction with sausages, lamb, lots of vegetables and plenty of liquid, like a home-made soup, but not as thick. It went down very well.
Monday and Saturday are our free days now. Tuesday, we attend "Know Your Bible", Wednesday, we help with Mainly Music, Wednesday afternoon is our prayer time with friends, Thursday, Rosey works with the Salvation Army Shop and I work in the Good News Christian Bookshop, Friday Rosey is in the Anglican Shop. After taking a deep breath we reach Saturday (free) and then we attend our church on Sunday morning. Certainly we are kept busy, that is for sure, but we both love doing voluntary work, we both get incredible satisfaction out of doing this and helping others!!
