Classic SP action on the Shasta Division (video)
Here's an 8mm video of SP 9344 East (the OAPTF) climbing the grade at Mott CA, on SP's Shasta Division. 5 EMD units on the head-end, and 3 more EMDs mid-train...about 14 months before the Cantara Loop spill would dramatically change operations north of Dunsmuir. No GE garbage or graffiti.
