Vintage Copper Humidifier

When heating is provided by hot water radiators, the resulting heated air is dry, thus this device can be used to add moisture to the air.

 

The copper container is filled with water, with water also filling the long thin evaporator, and the device is pushed back entirely into the slot of the radiator. The hot radiator then evaporates the water, adding humidity to the air.
