Mr Nakagawa's son Painting Heisenji Shrine Gates, Japan

Dundas Canada and Kaga Japan were twinned in 1968 (mundialization) and every three years, a group of students from Kaga travels to Dundas to experience the Canadian lifestyle and similarly, every three years (different years) Dundas students visit Kaga.

In 1990 it was Dundas's turn to visit Kaga and I was on that trip as Head Chaperone, which included 30 students and 7 chaperones.

One day was spent with Mr. Nakagawa and his son in the Fukui area.

This photo was taken in August 1990 on 35mm colour print film.
