Flood Picture in Watersnood Museum, Zeeland, Netherlands

The Watersnood Museum (Flood Museum) depicts the flood disaster of Feb. 1, 1953. The four massive concrete caissons that were used to repair the breach in the dikes form this museum.

Afterwards the Netherlands government built the Delta Works to prevent future flooding.
