Crocosmia

This genus of flowers is native to South Africa but grow nicely in Vancouver's reasonably mild climate and bloom through July and August. Growing in my garden, July 26, 2009. (I'm not sure what species this is or whether it is actually Crocosmia x crocosmiiflora, commonly called Montbretia).
