Nigella Seed Capsule
I wish someone could tell me what this flower is. It has been like this for many weeks without opening. From my garden in Vancouver, July 25, 2009. Added on July 27, 2009: Thanks very much to Monica Meeneghan who has identified it as a Nigella. Here is some information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigella.
