Hey there everyone... Forgive me for my absence... Been extremely busy...

 

I have been going to Flickr, but not really uploading anything, nor visiting anyone...

 

I've been researching what lens to buy... I've been lucky to have a little bit of 'end-of-financial-year-bonus' (hehe) and decided to reward myself a new lens...

 

Nothing fancy... just an all 'round lens... walk-around type... preferably for portrait...

 

At this stage, I also wanted to get a flash unit (Canon Speedlite 580EXII), which reduces my overall budget for a new lens...

 

I'm happy to try a 3rd party lens... as I can't afford the "L" series lens from Canon...

 

Any suggestions???
