Seth Alexander

No Monday Blues for me! :) This gorgeous little one is Seth Alexander... our 2nd child, born a few days ago... 7th Aug 2009.

 

He was born 5 weeks premature... and needed to be in Special Care Nursery. He doesn't need to be in the incubator though... coz he's one tough little cookie! :)

 

For the first 2 days, he did what other premature babies did... SLEEP! So we have to "teach" him how to feed on his own from the breast... Otherwise, we had to give him milk through the feeding tube that you can see on the photo above... Yesterday however, he did it!!! He started feeding on his own with almost no assistance! We're so proud of him!

 

Hopefully, he doesn't need to stay in the Special Care Nursery for long... as we can't wait to take him home!

 

This means though that I will be off Flickr for a while... taking care of this little one...

Bash (Sebastian), our other son is over the moon with the birth of his little brother... as all his cousin's are girls! Now he has a partner in crime! HEHEHE
