PLEASE READ BELOW - IT'S NOT THE PICTURE, IT'S THE STORY. NYC MAYOR'S SNOW FAILURE 2014
The well forecast Snow Storm of February 13th 2014 hit NYC as promised. About a foot of snow so far with more on the way. The storm started in the south and came up the coast. It was forecast about 5 days ago to hit NYC. The Mayor, in his "I am always right" attitude left school open today. This after saying ALL NY'ers should stay off the road. (What about the teachers and those who get driven to school? Contradiction here, huh?) This after the Governor declared a state of emergency for NYC. Really? Oh it's great to say that it wasn't "too" bad this morning, but what about getting home?. And for all the Deputy Commissioners chiming in with Mayor DeBlasio, I ask you this question. Would you still support leaving the schools open if the Mayor had suggested closing them. I think not. You would all stand there sucking up and agreeing with whatever he said. What a bunch of losers. And finally for the Schools Chancellor, who stated at the press conference that it was "a beautiful day outside", I only ask that you share with us what window you were looking out of. I think rather than it being your window, it was your computer screensaver with a picture of Miami. Links to media coverage: nypost.com/2014/02/13/al-roker-blasts-de-blasio-over-snow...
