Planthopper with one stigma and not much red edge - part 1

Probably Colgar peracutum. I took this photo while Mr Planthopper was sitting on the fence in diffuse light. Como NSW Australia, March 2011.

Hoping that I might be able to take a better photograph which would show some of the texture of his wing, I caught him in a glass jar, and then put him into the fridge for a couple of hours. Most insects seem to slow right down after cooling down, but not Mr P. As soon as I tipped him out on the desk, he decided to test the hopper part of his body, and I chased him around the room until I re-captured him.

So I took him outside and got one photo before he shot off into the bush.
