“DAD.....”

A Great Crested Grebe and chick. This youngster had just hatched that morning and was already a handful. As we watched he had fallen from Mums back into the water where his Dad rescued him and took him for a little motor around the Lake before taking over childminding duties back at the nest. There were three more eggs, so hopefully by now he will have some brothers or sisters!
