Big Bend Bluebonnets
I took a quick 2 day trip out to Big Bend with friends to photograph the amazing bluebonnets out west. If you have a chance to see them then get out there quickly because they are just stunning and the fragrance of all those flowers cannot be described!
The Big Bend Bluebonnet (Lupinus havardii) is much taller then the rest of the bluebonnets in Texas and grow 3-4 feet tall and the bloom portion around 4-8 inches. It's amazing to see the bluebonnets in Big Bend stretch out over the rolling hills below the mountains.
