Point Cabrillo Lighthouse
The Point Cabrillo Lighthouse stands on the Northern California Mendocino Coast.
This lighthouse and its Third Order Fresnel lens have served as an active aid to maritime navigation since its lamp was first lit on June 10, 1909 - 110 years to the day before this picture was taken.
According to the nautical charts, its light flashes six times every minute, and is visible twenty-two miles out to sea.
I used a KITE to fly the camera.
