Barn Swallow

Hirundo rustica

A depth of field nightmare. It is mid day, the sun is directly overhead and behind. They are perched on a twig that is angled away from me. I can't change my position because this location was on the edge of a pond, and I would need to go out into the water. Thats why I chose f8 instead of going for more shutter speed. And still the two closest fledglings are not real sharp. There are 5 fledglings, but one took off. (which is good because there was no way it would be in focus in this lineup)
