That time again ?
Since the take over following the heels of a Gallbladder and a Hernia operation the company was sold off in January .
Soon, the long haul customers disappeared not only ending my driving, order pulling, verifying, packing. dwindled to none .
The dispatcher duties and learning a new computer tracking
overseeing drivers while sending them out on their deliveries
not that we are "flush" with drivers and I'm still most times a solo act pulling packing orders when I should cover my desk over the drivers and verifying parts incoming .
What I stupidly thought a "less stressful" position is anything but. and I do things to fill orders a 59 year old necessarily doesn't do as I'm climbing shelfing like I was 18 or 30 again.
Its not sexy at all. but I have found and I think its not a good thing, I noticed Ive been adding more holes to my new Smith and Wesson PD belt . Most times pulling orders having to pull up my pants every five minutes , this is a three inch, hole reduction in my belt since January.
Now being sick with a flu /, cold its still holding strong while not so severe, it has its ups and downs today is rare I took time off work that is exceedingly rare for me my nose won't stop dripping and gone through three boxes of tissue, its on two weeks now.
Yesterday I noticed my pants more loose and with a sick day
weighed myself which I've stopped doing May 2015 out of disgust and failure as all that loss was soon added back on, back to long haul service what was near 200 lbs, I gained 60 pounds right back to pre 2012 weight.
Its March 26 and I weigh now what I was in 2015 and that loss is due to the work I've been doing since the take over.
Concerned and this time not pleased about it, again killing myself for employment .
