Interesting what responds more to trimming while others show almost no reaction like this plant . While i post a lot of the same trees, plants, bushes.. there is a motive behind it .

What i like about flickr a easy recall of past images to compare information in this case working in Bonsai .

 

While i might lose projects due to creatures i still can use what worked and failed, time stamps help find what month is best for a certain tree to work with .

 

The American Elm Bonsai project at least for this tree shows

considerable "spring back" from trimming, this bud is a surprise and just seemed to sprout out of thin air.

and its not the only one.
