ADLAKE Reliable APR 1 , 1913 H. St. Ry. Co.
50 bucks, how could i pass over this..
I don't collect this type of thing but street railway has been a past interest with me and i still appreciate it especially when an item which really isn't in bad condition. is mostly all together and certainly double marked.
I think a far stretch to assume its lineage is that of Holliston street railway. or Hudson street railway.
a contact suggested Holyoke... or Hartford Street Railway Company.
the metal is very good condition compared to same types ive seen
this one a bit better. at least no rot or even a pin hole.
The lamp stamped on top The Adams Westlake CO. NEW YORK CHICAGO PHILA. "ADLAKE" RELIABLE
The last patent date stamped on the lid, is APRIL 1 1913
and has a mount bracket cast , PAT. NOV.14 1911. the opposite side is cast 1115
