I haven't really taken many personal photos lately. My current photography assignment at TCC is really encouraging me to do so though.

 

I'm assigned to take pictures of people without their knowledge. I spent the weekend hanging out with some good friends, so I took my camera and telephoto lens with me everywhere I went in case I came across something interesting. Sure enough, interesting stuff is everywhere! Who knew?!

 

Anyway, this is Kason playing his guitar at the park. :-)

Have you ever noticed that guitar photos pretty much always look good?

My mom and I both entered photos into the 2009 Creative Arts contest at the State Fair of Texas. I normally don't win anything because the photography section is so incredibly advanced and hard to get in.

But, lo and behold, I won a ribbon this year!
