Double Headed Coal Working at Healey Mills

BR Coal Sector locos 60056 "William Beveridge" and 56094 are photographed at Healey Mills with 6S67 the empties from Fiddlers Ferry Power Station (Warrington, Cheshire) to Millerhill (Dalkeith/Edinburgh). It's coming up to 6.00 in the evening and the train will depart in the next 30 minutes with a new driver in charge. The HBA wagons are a variant of the original HAA versions, but now given partial canopies which allowed a train speed of 60mph as opposed to the HAA's maximum permitted speed of 45mph.
